Just a friendly reminder
Please make sure that in the winter months you remove you garden hose from your outside hose faucet. If you do not, the water inside the hose will freeze and travel up into the faucet causing it to break. We have seen a lot of this in the last couple months.

Sump Pump Freeze Up

This is a little reminder to check to make sure you sump pump is not froze up. We went to a job today in homer glen , il. 60491 where the sump pump line was frozen. This was caused by the sump pump line being piped solid into the drain in the ground. This caused the sump pump line to freeze solid. As a result it flooded the basement. In these cold weather conditions there needs to be a physical air gap between the pipe and the drain in the ground. This will keep your sump pump line coming from inside the home from freezing.
